international bush textiles symposium in South Australia, in 2009, the International Year of Natural Fibres

 In response to overwhelming demand India Flint is planning a bush textiles symposium focussing on ecologically sustainable textiles practice to take place in the Mount Lofty Ranges in South Australia between July 12^th and 17^th, 2009

         

clothing, decorative textiles, design, dyeing, and materials sourcing will all form part of the agenda for discussion.

While planning is in the early stages the preliminary outline is as follows

Arrival and registration Sunday afternoon 3-5pm

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday: four full days comprising presentations, excursions and workshops

Thursday evening : symposium dinner

Friday morning: farewells and departures by 10am
